FPC connector tips

The top connection and bottom connection of the FPC connector can be distinguished by the following methods

Pin arrangement direction: The pin arrangement direction of the top connection and the bottom connection is opposite, and it can be judged whether it is the top connection or the bottom connection according to the pin arrangement direction.

Pin mark: There is usually a mark on the pin of the connector, which can be used to determine whether it is a top connection or a bottom connection.

The shape of the connector: The shape of some connectors will be different, and you can determine whether it is a top connection or a bottom connection according to the shape.

FPC patch foot: The FPC patch foot is placed flat on the PCB board or other horizontal surface.

Lid: Pull or lift the black or brown lid.

Cable: See if the cable is placed under or on top of the black or brown lid. If it’s on top, it’s top, if it’s under the lid, it’s called bottom.
